Mental Health Awareness Month 2025 is a time to reflect on the importance of emotional wellbeing and promote access to the critical services that support it. Here in our community, local partners like Life Enrichment Services, Concern Hotline, and domestic violence response agencies including Choices of Page County, Response, Inc., and The Laurel Center are making a daily difference for individuals facing trauma, stress, or crisis.
Mental Health in America
According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), more than 1 in 5 U.S. adults experience mental illness each year, and nearly half of those with mental illness do not receive treatment. Barriers such as stigma, lack of access, and financial hardship often stand in the way.
Our Health campus agencies and community partners are working to change that.
